Well its not easy to find what we are looking for. But not at every juncture of our lives do we know what we are looking for!
So lets talk a little, analyze a bit and probe ourselves further to find out what we are looking for!
Of course it can be Friendship (coz we have been misunderstood); Love (coz we have been betrayed); Sex (coz we have not been satiated) and it can be anything just coz that is what we want!!
To begin with I would say I am looking for Love in my life. Its been 4 years that I have been in a relationship and now I want to be in one. A loving, giving, caring relationship!

Great topic. I think with life and experiences we gain along the way what we look for changes a little. Someone we might prefer at 18 might not be the person we like at 24. Still it would be awesome to find someone willing to share in the journey with us and someone willing to grow I guess i'm looking for true friendship and true love. Both can be equally hard to find although friends rarely break hurts. Wishing you all the best in your search and you def deserve someone who sings this song for you www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5-mJvJ-3XU&feature=fvsr We all need someone who loves us and cares for us

I'm looking for a girl who is serious about long term committment. I hope to have a marriage like relationship with a girl. I don't know if my parents will accept it. They want me to find a good Indian boy and settle down. :/

It's strange but somwhere on the inside i'd want someone who believes in some traditions like i'd want my girl and me to do karva chauth or celebrate festivals together. Or if she's different religion celebrate both our festivals together. I grew up in a conservative family so I feel like I still look for the same things i would if i was straight and was looking for a husband. I don't think being gay changes that.

I think I would love that too but its not a necessity. I want someone who loves me with her whole heart. Rest everything will follow!

Jaya, hang in there. We all have gone through or will go through the same at some point. You are not alone. I hope you find someone who holds your hand through all of this.

You're right misslistenalot finding someone you love with whole heart is most important everything else can be worked out. I was reading some articles last year that after homosexuality got decriminalised all these gay couples were celebrating some even did karva chauth together. i feel like my coming out could almost be like a movie. Like i'm there with my parents and my gf, i come out to them, they get angry i take her hand and we do saath phere. then i put sindoor in her mang with my own khoon. Ok the last one is a bit far-fetched and i know that tradition is probably sexist and all but that's just a fantasy i have.

i am looking for a good friend. right now i am doing my ms in France after being a banker for almost 4.5 years. i am pretty much decent person with ambitious nature. i am a nerd and bookworm. i am the most un-stylist person in the universe. i am an amazing friend (you can verify with anyone who has met me). i used to be terribly naughty during my school and college days. i think being a banker has mellowed me down. people get attached to me and end up crying while i leave (swear i didn't have affairs with them). but deep down i am a sweetiepie.
